terfysg abertawe a SWANSEA RIOT

Cyfrol ddwyieithog yn cynnwys casgliad o ddwsin o ganeuon gwerin amrywiol, yn seiliedig ar ddigwyddiadau cyffrous a thrychinebus yn ardal Abertawe yn bennaf yn oes Fictoria. Mae’r caneuon yn bwrw goleuni ar y mân a’r mawr o fywyd y dosbarth gweithiol. Y gobaith yw y caiff ein plant (a’n hoedolion) eu hysbrydoli i edrych yn fanylach are u hanes eu hunain ac i ymfalchïo yn eu cyndadau a’u cynfamau.

In this little book you will find a collection of twelve folk songs, accompanied by the stories they are based on - mainly incidents that occurred in Swansea during the Victorian age. The songs provide an insight into the highs and lows of working-class life. Hopefully they will inspire our children (and adults) to look more closely at their own history and to be proud of their fore-fathers and mothers!
